Can I download ringtones to my phone through a USB port?

I know how to get ringtones onto my phone. I have an AT&T tilt and it’s easy. But my dad just got a Motorola EM330 and it has a USB port, but I can’t get it to sync to my computer. Can I still download ringtones to it?
