I just bought and iphone and got the standard data plan, and I got an instant messenger application for free. I’m wondering, is there some way I can configure it to connect to peoples phones instead of their IM accounts so that I don’t have to keep paying for a text messaging plan in addition to the data plan? And what exactly is the difference between text messaging and an instant messenger?

I don’t know how to get downloadable content into my sims 3 launcher, all my downloads go into a download folder in my documents not the sims three downloads.

Even after getting to know the person their communicating with, they’ll ignore any e-mail msg (won’t answer one to save their own lives); however, will chat ur head off and tell u anything you’d want to know about them on an instant messenger. All day today, I cannot get windows live messenger 2011 to start. I get this error that reads "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail." I do not even know what the application event log is. I have already tried repairing messenger and reinstalling it. How can I get this to start?

I’m looking for an authorititative answer to the question as to whether or not Yahoo Instant Messenger is permitted to be used for internal office use. That is, does using it in the office for business purposes count as a forbidden "commercial" use? My request to Yahoo itself through its form has gone unanswered.
