How can I instant message a song from itunes?

I have an itunes song on my laptop that i want to add to my itunes library on my desktop. I was told I can instant message it to my desktop. How can i so this. I ultimately want to download it to my ipod without deleting my library on my ipod. Thank you

Take iTunes out of the equation. You need to IM the FILE from the folder. It’s probably (My)Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/(artist) and so on. Download it to the other computer then import it to iTunes. Just so you know, it’s also possible to put it on the iPod from the first computer by managing it manually. The advantage to IMing is that you then have two copies plus the one on your iPod.
