<description>You didn't mention what operating system or mouse you have. I have the same problem with a HP laptop running VISTA and an ALPS touchpad. Apparently this is a problem with VISTA and I read about 2 workarounds today in a VISTA forum that I haven't tried yet. You can go into your StartUp menu by typing &#34;msconfig&#34; in the start menu and uncheck whatever mouse defaults are automatically loading on reboot or you can ignore the mouse controls through the O/S control panel and adjust the mouse settings thru its own application. Good luck.
