How do I keep Yahoo Messenger from changing my Resolution every time I sign on?

When I sign in on my computer & yahoo messenger Logs on it changes my Resolution on my computer screen.
I have tired to change the Proxies & nothing.
Anybody else have any Ideas?

Right click on the ‘Yahoo Messenger Smiley’ short-cut icon on your desktop
click "Properties"
click "Compatibility"
make sure everything is unchecked
