How safe is yahoo messenger webcam while chatting with my wife and sharing some private moments on yahoo?

If me and my wife is on yahoo messenger,on our respective laptops, me in some country and she in other country and we do some private moments on using webcam.Is it safe and privacy guaranteed or not?

Just make sure your settings are set to "very private," no sharing or broadcasting, or you will be on the worldwide web !
Nothing is guaranteed safe but you can maximise your security. When in chat just have the one name in the ‘Permission to view’ box. This will prevent other contacts from innocently forcing your cam at the wrong time.
Messenger > Preferences > Webcam
Check box, – Always allow the following people to view my webcam’
Put your names in
Select ‘Ignore all other requests’
The only other things you can do is to monitor the number of people watching you from the bottom left of the webcam frame and have the ‘Who is watching me’ feature open all the time during the session
You should keep in mind nothing on the internet is ever 100% safe. fairly safe yes but hackers do have ways to get in.
