Okay, I got a brand-new laptop for Christmas. I got my internet at my grandmothers house, and my dad took it away from me for some reason. My aunt was helping him to try and brighten the screen, and dad turned the laptop off. He gave it back to me. The icons were huge and my screen saver was black. I got my screensaver again and my icons and text back to normal, but now there is no color icons or bars or anything on ANY website I go onto. On facebook, I can see the pictures, but the blue spots aren’t there. On yahoo, the logo is purple. but the signature icons of the auto, dating, answers, movies, OMG! aren’t there.
The text on yahoo answers is black and blue, but the signature green background isn’t showing up. Everything else is normal. I want the color back! I went to help and support, but got to answers. My crusor is a big, black, blinking box. All my programs work right and have the color they always do. But all the sites on Internet Explorer are white, purple, blue and black. No color or icons or animation. Videos and pictures still have their color.
My computer was screwed up after my dad used it. Please help, no haters!

My half sister is around 45 years old and I’m only 16. My dad and her mom got divorced when she was about thirteen and it was a fairly long time before my dad met my mom and got married. When i was really little we got along better but she was always my dad’s favorite ( everything was she did this it was amazing how she did that) but I got over it and became my own person. Since I’ve gotten older she’s been mean to me. She takes my clothes, and then destroys them, makes me serve her when she visits( like she can’t get the remote in front of her herself), she puts me down in front of my friends, call me fat (I’m not) , on christmas I had a pimple on my nose so she called me spotty or rudolph for the rest of the day, and the last incident happend a few days ago. I had gotten my wisdom teeth out and had this sock looking ice pack on my face so she kept calling me sock for the 2 days she visited. My dad told her to stop but she didn’t. Then to make matters worse, she went on my desktop account and changed the screensaver to "hi sock" and read through my documents. I was really angry but more so i couldn’t belive how immature she was. She has a few problems with her life( she doesnt have children, not married, health issues) but i don’t think that’s a valid reason for belittling me.

I don’t like screensavers with rotating pictures or with a floating design. I like to be able to see my desktop and anything on it and just have something appear in front of it. I have a few examples underneath with links to better explain what I mean.

I use the free fire screensaver ( http://www.laconicsoftware.com/free-fire-screensaver.php ). It just makes everything on the screen look like its on fire. I’ve also used and Icy Christmas screensaver ( http://www.elasticsystems.com/screensavers/icy-christmas-screensaver/index.htm ), which makes it look like the screen is slowly freezing. On my laptop i have the Rainy screensaver ( http://www.elasticsystems.com/rainy/index.html) which makes it look like you’re looking out the window while its raining.

Anyway I was asking if anyone out there knows of any other really unique and cool screensavers out there?

MP4 player, I mean "does it matter"? or do I have to find a site that has JUST MP4 player downloads? Christmas Present for my daughter but she’s not sure how to work it either so we need a little help any advice on the whole thing would be great! I just learned that i am getting the Kindle from my husband for christmas.(so excited) Anyway i was looking at the add for target and came across the digital reader from sony. Does anyone know what the difference is??? If so which one is better then??? thanks( although i am keeping the Kindle -its from my husband.)
