Alright…so Right now, the only way I can access my PC is by switching to safe mode…When I turn it on, it starts up and lets me log in but when I get to my home screen (With my wallpaper and everything) The task bar turns blue and when I click something all the icons and task bar disappear. My dad and I have tried many things. Our first thought was that maybe it was getting too hot so we turned it off for 4 hours then used a fan with it…didn’t work. He then took off the bottom/back panel thing and cleaned it carefully and took out the battery then popped it back in. It worked for about 5 minuets then poof went the icons and task bar again….So, we went to the control panel and did recovery….It worked great but then 30 minuets later I had to go do something so I shut it down…when I came back on a while ago it did the same thing it did first.

I have a MSI laptop with windows 7. It is fairly new; I got it last Christmas so I don’t think it’s about the age…I also haven’t installed anything new except to update flash or java. It does automatic updates though when I turn it off so that might be it. (I thought I turned those off when we did the recovery so it may be something else…)

I got a regular nook for Christmas and was ready to buy some books and get to reading, so I did all the beginning things (charged it fully, registering it, added some wallpaper, downloaded newest version off the nook website, etc.) Then I started having problems. There was lots of communication problems, (Sorry, Unable to open this book, After I just bought it!!) (Unable to connect ,Call customer support) and sometimes I would try to go online to the store and It would take so long to connect I would just end up canceling it….THEN I went to a stronger Wi-fi area in my house (It was FULL bars) and It still took just as long, so I ended up canceling… and Now I bought another book and On the touchscreen when I push "show covers" it wont it just shows a default picture of a gray rectangle….We were thinking about returning it, but the return policy says it has to be returned within 2 weeks, and my dad bought it 3 weeks ago….
I just got this thing, it it already broken, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

My computer account and my dad’s computer account are computer administrators, but his computer account has Windows Live Messenger. So I went on his account and logged on my Windows Live Messenger. Then I went back on my computer account and ran it again, but it still said to log on Windows as an administrator and then try again! I don’t get it at all!

Please tell me how to download Windows Live Messenger, step by step!

Okay so, I have a computer at my dad’s house which has itunes and limewire downloaded onto it, and I get all my music from limewire and transfer it to itunes. Right now I’m at a completely different house with a different computer, and I want to add new songs so how do I put the music from my ipod onto itunes or limewire without having to re-download everything? I got the iPhone 3g in May 2009, and then my dad got the iPhone 3gs. He recently got upgraded to the iPhone 4 and so gave me his old iPhone3gs. Alltel has this stupid "axcess apps" thing so my games are thrown in with all other applications instead of having it’s separate little section (like on my dad’s Sony Walkman from CellOne). Alright, I got this little red Gateway Mini laptop for Christmas and I love it. There is one problem I have with it though, I have no idea how to set the wallpaper/background. I have tried, my dad has tried, my sister has and nobody has been able to figure it out. Please anyone with the SAME type of laptop, answer this and help me out.

my dad took away my pic msgs so now i cant send or receive any pic msgs. is there a way to download ringtones without using pic msgs?

My dad put some songs on my ipod and I forgot to ask him is it different to download to on mp3 players.When I download songs to my ipod, the songs are not on it.

I know how to get ringtones onto my phone. I have an AT&T tilt and it’s easy. But my dad just got a Motorola EM330 and it has a USB port, but I can’t get it to sync to my computer. Can I still download ringtones to it?

I sent my dad a ringtone though text messaging. He eventually got it but couldn’t figure out how to add it. He can hear it but does not know how to set it as a ringtone.

He has a palm treo. It is very confusing!

Please tell me how to add it as a ringtone.
