Itunes won’t open!! why!! How come i tunes won’t open? how can i open it? how am i gonna be able to get music to my ipod!

is there anything else besides itunes that will let me sync music to my ipod ?

I finally figured out how to make a ringtone through an app on my ipod and it shows up in my sounds like its supposed too. But how do i set that ringtone to my textfree app so when i get a text message it’ll play that ringtone?

im so confused ok so my ipod got reset and i had purchased stuff from itunes before and now im trying to get it all back but i cant figure it out i downloaded itunes 10.3.1 and i installed it but idk it still asks if i wanna install but to get my stuff do i go to the apple website and press the itunes button or do i go to the itunes o my computer with the library and stuff or what and how do i sign in and HOW DO I GET MY STUFF BACK??????? thanks
