Okay, I got a brand-new laptop for Christmas. I got my internet at my grandmothers house, and my dad took it away from me for some reason. My aunt was helping him to try and brighten the screen, and dad turned the laptop off. He gave it back to me. The icons were huge and my screen saver was black. I got my screensaver again and my icons and text back to normal, but now there is no color icons or bars or anything on ANY website I go onto. On facebook, I can see the pictures, but the blue spots aren’t there. On yahoo, the logo is purple. but the signature icons of the auto, dating, answers, movies, OMG! aren’t there.
The text on yahoo answers is black and blue, but the signature green background isn’t showing up. Everything else is normal. I want the color back! I went to help and support, but got to answers. My crusor is a big, black, blinking box. All my programs work right and have the color they always do. But all the sites on Internet Explorer are white, purple, blue and black. No color or icons or animation. Videos and pictures still have their color.
My computer was screwed up after my dad used it. Please help, no haters!

I downloaded Microsoft Home and Student 2010 for my laptop and the software was downloadable online and came with the unlock key, same for the Norton AntiVirus software. Both were preloaded on my laptop so I just needed the keys to unlock each. But I wanted to know if there’s any kind of difference at all between the downloadable software and the physical discs you would buy online or in the store. And do they make a difference when you download them onto your computer?

today i noticed that my windows xp laptop has no good screen savers, and that there are some screen savers i like on our windows vista desktop so can i transfer?

I don’t like screensavers with rotating pictures or with a floating design. I like to be able to see my desktop and anything on it and just have something appear in front of it. I have a few examples underneath with links to better explain what I mean.

I use the free fire screensaver ( http://www.laconicsoftware.com/free-fire-screensaver.php ). It just makes everything on the screen look like its on fire. I’ve also used and Icy Christmas screensaver ( http://www.elasticsystems.com/screensavers/icy-christmas-screensaver/index.htm ), which makes it look like the screen is slowly freezing. On my laptop i have the Rainy screensaver ( http://www.elasticsystems.com/rainy/index.html) which makes it look like you’re looking out the window while its raining.

Anyway I was asking if anyone out there knows of any other really unique and cool screensavers out there?

I got a my mom’s old computer, which had her itunes account still on it. She already completely transferred her account to her new laptop, but how do I get her music totally off of her old computer? I already un-installed everything about itunes and reinstalled it, but her music was on the itunes when I reinstalled.

My friend logged onto windows live messenger (MSN) on my laptop and now every time I log on it opens and I have to keep closing it. Is there any way to stop this because I don’t have an MSN account? x

I just got a MacBook laptop and signed into itunes with my old itunes account from my previous laptop , but none of my music is showing up on it. I don’t want to sync my ipod to the MacBook itunes and lose all of my music. How do I transfer music from one itunes to another if the account is the same?

I want to know if I am downloading files from bit torrent and my laptop goes into screensaver mode, will the downloading continue in the background until complete?

i have a laptop and a desktop now…and i bought like 3 or 2 movies on itunes on the desktop..i signed in itunes on my laptop and it shows my purchases…but i wanna know if theres any way i can put the movies i bought on itunes in my laptop so incase i connenct my ipod to the laptop it wont erase the movies i have..??

I have a desktop which currently holds all my iTunes memory and songs/videos, so does my iPod. I just got a laptop, how can i get all the songs from my desktop’s iTunes to my laptop’s iTunes?

If I purchase songs from itunes on my desktop computer, but I want to copy those songs onto my laptop, is there a way I can go into my itunes account and download the songs I’ve purchased? I don’t want to burn them or send the file as a way to transfer the songs.

Like I mean, does it add all the albums back in for you, or do you need to re-add each album individually? If it does, does it remember the play count for each album and time last played, etc?

I want to change my laptop HD for a bigger one and don’t really want to do the built in iTunes backup of putting the whole library to DVD then readding that way as it can be a little time consuming and gotta buy all those blank DVDs.

We run Quickbooks Pro 2005 and we need to start running it as multi-user program. We only have one license and it is loaded on a laptop and a regular desktop. I called Intuit and they rudely told me we have to upgrade to 2007 (can’t do that til the end of the year.) I found the 2005 Pro single license version on Amazon and my question is would that work? Or are we forced to buy the 3 user version? We just want to add one more user. Thanks so much!

Okay, so I’ve got about 14 gig of music and apps on itunes, basically I want to ask 2 things:

1) How do you back up the whole of itunes including store purchases and then restore it onto a new laptop?

2) How do you back up the whole of the Iphones settings and restore onto the new laptop?

By the way I will be using an external hard drive! Thanks.
