I have a 1yr old son who occasionally goes with one of my Moms friends and stays the night. She never had kids herself, always wanted them, but was never married and so I allow her to take my son here and there. I just turned 20 years old, was 18 when I had him and I live with my Mom.
Well my Moms friend, since I started allowing my son to spend the night has really taken a turn on things.
My request was for her to let me know where he was at all times, and ask my permission to go somewhere, in case she was going to go somewhere I didn’t want him to go, I could have her bring him back or pick him up myself. And let me know that he is ok from time to time.
What she does now, is she says if you don’t hear from me he is fine. But to me I would rather be reassured that something didn’t happen to both of them, or whatever, rather than her just not call and tell me anything.
She doesn’t ask my permission for anything anymore. She just takes him where ever she wants to when she has him. Or she may let Mom know that she is taking him somewhere, but not me.
A picture of my son is her phone wallpaper, she has clothes for him, shoes for him, toys for him, a room that she made into "his" room, and plans on buying a crib that turns into a day bed, and a bed for her house, and a outside play ground. To me that is a bit much for a once a month visit over night.
I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child, 32 weeks along, and at first she nagged and bugged about adopting this one. Saying that we couldn’t afford him, that she could give him a better life, saying that she can’t spoil both the boys when this one comes along, etc.
I think she is becomming overly attatched to my son. Almost trying to take over.
Maybe I’m paranoid but what do you think?
Also her Mom and sister both think badly of me, they treat my son good when he is at there house, because my Moms friend takes him there. But since they think so badly of me and talk bad about me, I really don’t want him there. They bought him Christmas presents, to keep at their house, and wanted my Moms friend to bring him over, I said he can go over but I’ll bring him. And now they’re not going to celebrate with him.

What do you think of this situation???

I’m going to buy my mom a kindle for Christmas because she loves to read. But what is the difference between the 3G kindle and the regular WiFi one? I know the WiFi kindle can only be used at a wireless hotspot. But what does 3G do exactly? Is it supposed to be faster??

Does anyone know where I can find these? I’ve tried looking online but they are all really ugly! My mom is just getting the hang of myspace and would like a layout about being a grandma. Thanks for any help!

I downloaded the messenger and used it like two times. My mom deleted it because it was ruining our computer and making it slow and the other pages were loading slow…why is this do you think?

So if I got unlimited texting, I could instant message people all day if I wanted? That’s what I might do, since I’m kinda phone shy, but like to communicate with friends over the internet. I got my LG Chocolate mainly because I could listen to music on it, but then I could call my mom or bro or whoever if I needed to. It’s working out pretty good like that, but it’d be nice to ride my bike and listen to music and IM people at the same time.

So I use MSN messenger, and I don’t want to download any other messengers onto my computer. But my Mom uses AIM and Yahoo I think, I know there’s a site you can use to talk to people on different messengers at once but I have no clue what it is. Could you please tell me what site it is?

I want to kill myself, i’m familiar with hotlines, but i cant call or my mom will yell and scream at me like she always does (one of my reasons). Is there any type of instant message thing similar?

I want to set up a blog for my mom so she can enter her recipies that can be shared by our family members. I also want to make the blog flexible enough such that other family members can also enter their own favorite recipes, rather than just comment on her entries.

Ideally, I’d like to be able to create some top-level categories, and then for each new blog entry, have some sort of a template.

Hello to anybody who is nice enough to read and help me out with this. It’s been discussed very frequently between my mother, my grandmother, and myself about getting a laptop for me for Christmas and for my Birthday (Dec. 30). Now lately my mother has been thinking more about the idea and would think it would be good for the both of us if we got one for us. So the idea of a laptop is supposed to be a "surprise" so I won’t know until Christmas or my Birthday. Now my mom being the early shopper she is, she wants me to make sure I write down what I want specifically the laptop to have. You know, I never thought about it until now because I never thought she’d actually consider it! So I’ve been looking online and in catalogs at all the different brands of laptops and all the little "features" and honestly I don’t know what they are talking about with some of the stuff. So I’ve come to you incredibly smart people to help me out a little if you would be so kind.

Now my main uses for this laptop would be the following :

- School Stuff – reports, essays, book reports which I’m always getting a lot.

- My mom would use it to take care of documents and work stuff and contact her family in Germany.

- Internet stuff like Myspace, IM, Fan Fiction – yes I write a ton of little short stories and stuff.

- Graphic making stuff. Yes I do make little signatures, wallpapers, and I’m starting to make layouts which I made my own not too long ago. I would most likely have my Gimp and my Corel PSP on there.

- iTunes

- Now my biggest concern with some people have told me is what I love to use my computer for….the Sims! Yes, yes I play the addicting Sims games and if you haven’t heard already there’s the awesome Sims 3 coming out in January which I’m saving my own money for. Now I heard something about the Sims using up a lot of memory on the laptop and I even heard people saying that it lags too much on a laptop. So my one thing I worry is not having a laptop where I can play my favorite computer game on.

So that’s pretty much my main uses for the laptop, as for my mom’s uses I stated before that it would be pretty much for work.

Now I need your help in perhaps reccomending any laptop that would be good for all my needs and my two main ones graphic making and Sims 3 playing. Give me any information you can give me basically. What brands should I look for? What are ones I should stay away from? That kind of stuff.

Also as for price of a laptop….try to please keep it under a ,000 perhaps?

Hi, well for christmas mom got me a tracfone motorola v170 and i cannot find anywhere that offers free ringtones & wallpapers

Also – when i go in my tracfone and find the network area and i select T-Mobile and register it it does nothing, help? What does this mean?
