I’m running a computer with Windows XP home, and the newest version of MSN doesn’t work on it. I downloaded an older version; but when I tried to log in, it told me that I needed the newest version to continue. Is there any way for me to get functioning MSN messenger on my computer?

I am trying to install Windows Live Messenger on my computer but every time I try to install it I get a message which says that it is already installed on my computer. I have searched all of my programs to find it and it simply is not anywhere on my computer but yet each time I try to download it I get the same message that it is already installed. I am using Windows XP Professional version, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions at all it would be greatly appreciated.

(I’m using Windows XP) I went on this website: http://download.live.com/messenger
I clicked ‘Download’ and downloaded it. I clicked the download and ran it, but then it said
"Couldn’t remove programs
Please log onto Windows as an administrator, and then try again."
My computer account and my dad’s computer account are computer administrators, but his computer account has Windows Live Messenger. So I went on his account and logged on my Windows Live Messenger. Then I went back on my computer account and ran it again, but it still said to log on Windows as an administrator and then try again! I don’t get it at all!
Please tell me how to download Windows Live Messenger, step by step!

With windows XP, the iPhone showed up as a camera and I could easily copy and paste. I got a new computer with Windows 7 and the iPhone doesn’t register in that menu. Surely there’s a way to make it show up…I don’t want to have to download a program to transfer my stuff.

I have Windows XP at home with iTunes and just purchased an HP laptop with Windows Vista. As of now, I have no internet on the laptop and so therefore no iTunes. But I do have a 2gig SanDisk USB drive. Does anyone know how I could possibly transfer my iTunes songs from my old computer to my new , taking into account my circumstances?

I use Photoshop CS5 a lot on a Windows XP platform at work and I’ve noticed that smaller brushes (1-15px) show up fine but when I start to increase the brush diameter, the brush starts to disappear (the bottom right side starts to disappear) and when the brush gets even bigger, it completely disappears and I’m left painting without knowing where my brush is. Has anyone else run into this issue and have had it resolved? I’ve tried Adobe’s customer support but they’re useless.
