Check the resolution of your screen, by right clicking on the wallpaper of your screen now and choosing Properties. Go to the Settings tab (this is if you have Windows). Check near the bottom what resolution it says. It may be one of the resolutions above, but it may not. Usually a laptop has a widescreen and subsequently a widescreen resolution, so actually none of those resolutions would fit your screen properly.

A "Display Properties" window will open up.
