Why is Yahoo Messenger 9 not showing me what other people type in conferences?

I installed Yahoo messenger 9 and now when I’m in a conference with other users the text they type is not showing up to me but what I type shows up to them. I’ve restarted my PC, reinstalled Messenger, I even created a new account that worked for a while but now it’s doing the same thing. I have no idea what could be causing this. Anybody know? Sometimes when I’m in a conference it shows what I type twice, I don’t know if that’s relevant.

This 9.0 version has many problems. Here is what I suggest:
First you have to uninstall the 9.0 version. Go to CONTROL PANEL—-than go to PROGRAMS/FEATURES, or ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Scroll down till you see YAHOO MESSENGER. Click on it and than click UNINSTALL. Use this link below that I provided to install:
